Two-factor authentication

TOTP two-factor with an authenticator app, built in.

Recovery codes

Single-use recovery codes for when you lose your device.

Session management

See active sessions and sign out other devices.

Role based permissions

Six roles and a granular permission matrix, default deny.

Audit logs

High value actions are recorded for review.

Data export

Export your workspace data as a single JSON file.

Workspace deletion

Request deletion with a grace window, then a full purge.

We describe only what is shipped. We do not claim security certifications we do not hold.

Twilio console alone vs Syncodial

Twilio is the infrastructure. Syncodial is the team layer.

The Twilio console is powerful, and it is built for developers. Syncodial gives your team a workspace on top of it, and you keep the same account underneath.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

Where an answer depends on Twilio or Meta availability, we say so.

What is Bring Your Own Twilio?
You connect the Twilio account you already own to Syncodial. Twilio stays your telecom provider and bills your usage. Syncodial is the team software layer on top: a shared inbox, calling, WhatsApp, contacts, automations, and analytics.
Do I keep my Twilio account?
Yes. The account, the phone numbers, the usage, and the data stay yours. If you ever stop using Syncodial, your Twilio account is unaffected.
Who bills message and call usage?
Twilio bills usage directly. Syncodial bills your software plan. The two bills stay separate, so telecom costs are always transparent and go straight to you.
Does Syncodial store my Auth Token?
No. We never store your Twilio Auth Token. You create a scoped Standard API key in the Twilio console, and Syncodial uses that. Inbound webhooks are authenticated with a secret URL token and an HMAC signature.
Can I use my existing Twilio numbers?
Yes. You can import numbers you already have on your Twilio account, and Syncodial configures their webhooks for you.
Can I buy new numbers?
Yes. You can search and buy numbers from inside Syncodial. Twilio charges the number and usage costs to your account directly.
Does Syncodial support WhatsApp?
Yes, as a paid add-on. You register your WhatsApp sender and WABA in the Twilio console, and Syncodial records it, tracks Meta approval, manages templates, and handles the 24 hour reply window inside the team inbox. WhatsApp availability depends on Twilio and Meta approval.
Is call recording included?
Call recording storage is available on the Business plan. It is off by default, gated by a workspace toggle, and plays a consent message when enabled.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes. Invite your team, assign roles, and give each person the right permissions. Conversations can be assigned, transferred, and resolved so the team shares one queue.
What happens after the trial?
The trial is 14 days of Pro with no card required. When it ends you choose a plan and check out through Paddle. If you do nothing, the workspace becomes read only until you pick a plan.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel your software subscription at any time from the billing page. You can also export your workspace data and request workspace deletion.
Is there a mobile app?
A mobile app is on the roadmap. Today the product is a web dashboard that works on desktop and mobile browsers. We do not list mobile app features that are not shipped.
Is Twilio Connect supported?
Not at launch. We use a customer owned scoped API key because it supports the full feature set, including the browser softphone. We researched Twilio Connect and will revisit it only if it clears those capabilities.
What countries are supported?
Availability of numbers, SMS, voice, and WhatsApp depends on your Twilio account and Twilio's own country coverage. Syncodial works wherever your Twilio account can send and receive.
